broadcasting on tftp

I have a switch that keeps broadcasting looking for a network-confg on any tftp server. I looked at the config and dont see any settings that woudl cause this. I have a tftp server setup on it but I am not sure whhy it is broadcasting at random times like this. Any ideas?

It is usually the result of the command 'service config' being in the configuration. Either that or I have seen this when a device is first booted and it is connected to a LAN so attempts an auto-install, after subsequent manual configuration it continues to do this until it is re-booted.

Yup just issue the command "no service config" from config mode and wr mem it .
