HI
I have made an annimated image in fireworks. I have added a slice to the image, behavior panel as on click swap image.
Object panel has url in it. When I preview it in a browser it works fine. However upon exporting it to dreamweaver the on click does not work. The annimation remains but there is no function to it. Any suggestions? Thank you for your time.

It might be a glitch if you had it saved before and resaved again. It may be looking the wrong slice. Have you tried deleting all the existing exported slices and re-saving them? Ladyborg

Hi sailruner!

There could be couple of reasons:

1) you exported incorrectly from FW;
2) you imported incorrectly into DW.

When you export from Fireworks be sure that in the Export dialog window you select next:
- Save as type: HTML and Images
- HTML: Export HTML file
- Slices: Export Slices

To insert it into DW do next:
- Insert > Interactive Images > Fireworks HTML;
- browse to HTML file generated by FW;
- press OK;
- enjoy!

Is it OK now? Good Luck! :)

Thank you that worked.
I have exported that way before but for some reason I went to the directions that had me export it as swf file. which was bringing it in to dreamweaver by flash. It is so good to be able to talk things out with others. I appreciate your time.[2thumbsup]
