Bring back program to Add/Remove List 1

Using the Change button in the Add/Remove Programs, I mistakenly removed a program (Acrobat 5.0, the writer) from the list.

The entry is no longer in the registry ...Windows\Uninstall...

Is there a way to restore the program back in the list?

System Restore monitors only key windows files, and the registry areas that could be affected.

The straight answer to your question: No. Reinstall the application.

I can be convinced that one should run Acrobat 5.1, and convinced that one should update to Acrobat 6.x, but certainly you shold contact Adobe for an upgrade from 5.0.

If the price is reasonable, I would like to upgrade to a newer Acrobat.

Else, as you suggested, i'll reinstall 5.0.

Reinstall 5.0, and then head to the Adobe site. The update for Acrobate to 5.1 is free.
