Brightstor Windows Agent and Throughput

1 Windows 2003 Standard Server running brightstor 9.01 (build 2100)
1 Windwos 2003 Standard Server running brightstor client agent (build 2102)

The backup over 1 GB link has a throughput of about 230 MB/Min.
From the same server 2003 Server, we are saving a Netware server and have a throughput of about 850 MB/Min.

Has somebody a hint / tip how to improve the throughput when backup a Windows 2003 Standard Server via Brightstor client Agent on a 1 GB link ?

I also heard that some NIC drivers in Win2003 SP1 can be problematic.
