BrightStor Laptop & Desktop backup problems

I'm giving BrightStor Laptop and Desktop backup V11.1 a bit of a work out and I'm stumped on something. I need a way to prevent users from adding or changing the files that are backed up on their systems apart from the files and folders I've specified. Apparently there is a way to do it but I have failed to find any reference to it in the documentation or on their website.

Any ideas?

There is a setting on the server to lock the client. I believe that's what it's called. Read about that. I've never used it myself.
