Brightstor Cancelled Job ?

Hi,

Am I right in thinking that if a daily incremental job gets cancelled on say a Wednesday...the tape will then be moved to the 'save' set and cannot be used the next day?

Assuming the job is canceled prior to running I'd say, probably but it really depends on the configuration. A job can be configured to append.

This is weird, I did a pre-flight and it 'FAILED' on the tape saying that it couldn't write to the one it had.

I put a blank tape in and low and behold it then writes to the tape that it said it couldn't use.

Any ideas ?
