Brightstor Arcserve for Linux/Unix

I was wondering if Brightstor Arcserve for Linux uses the linux /proc filesystem and any i386 specific calls.

also, is there any version of Brightstor, whether that be Arcserver, Enterprise Backup, etc that is know to work on FreeBSD or Mac OSX?
