I need to attach another DID number to an existing one so I thought I would do a bridged apperance for the new number, my question is: sometimes she forwards her original number to another phone what happens to her bridged appearance number>will people still be able to dial it and get through or be forwarded with the original?

Thanks,
Tina

Tina: I think the user will have to forward both extensions. On send all calls you can set it to the extension or set BUT this is a system wide setting.

Thanks

1a2 to ip I seen it all

If you have vectors and VDN's you could also set up the DID as a VDN and route it to the primary number using the route-to step. That way whenever the primary number is forwarded to another number the secondary DID will follow it without the user having to do anything.

Thanks guys, I guess I was to vague, she only wants to forward her original number and leave the bridged appearance number alone. I will set a send calls button for the original ext.

Thanks

A call forward button (or dialed code) would never affect the bridged appr. The original extension will forward, but the lines with bridged appr will continue to ring at the original extension. You are safe to use either Send Calls or CFwd for the main extension.
