I have a connection I am trying to get up, it has never been in service and the router (cisco 2610xm)has a new config.
Verizon has verified the spids and connection several times as being good. I cannot get the connection to the switch to show everything is ok. At one point one of the bri lines said the spid was ok, but now both are down. I have the config, sh isdn stat, and short sample of debug q921 attached, any help would be appreciated.

Dear Friend,
Have yiu got any solution on the problem. I am also facing the same problem with cisco 1721 router but iam not using any SPIDs.
If the problem is solved can you please brief me also.

Thanks

Sandeep Sutar.

We have had simular problems with a number of carriers nationwide. Try verifying that the SPIDs has been assigned in the carrier switches as 64K Data only on BOTH channels. Sometimes the ISDN circuits are implemented with a default setting that supports voice and data. Also verify the Carrier's switch type. You are set for National but it looks like the carrier switch may be set for 5ess. You have comms with the carrier equipment so it is definitely not a connectivity issue. Also you might try attempting a few tests calls without the CHAP and PPP Multilink settings. One thing we have found is that PPP multilink has given us a few "issues" when configured on the BRI interface. You can try connecting without using Multilink at all and see what happens. Did you run "debug ppp multi"? Might try "debug ISDN code" as well. Good luck.
