Trying to set up fax server with a 4 port BRI card. I want one DDI (DID) number to serve the fax server, and then hunt the calls around 8 BRI channels. I tried setting up a hunt group in LD 18 with the DFDNs, but it won't take these BRI extensions. Is there a different way of setting up a hunt group with ISDN2 lines, or is it even possible? Any alternatives if not?

Thanks All

haven't tried that one.. can you point the ddi's to phantom stations and hunt those to the bri's.. post one of the bri's// i would have though ght should have worked

I've printed LD27, and the error in LD18 trying to assign the BRI extension to a GHT.

I can only use a PLDN once the GHT is set up

The DN entered is not valid for the GHT list.

another thing that i usually do for a short hunt is to allow fna and set the fdn to the next ext in the hunt group. that lets the call forward in case one unit does not answer..

Telco confirmed that it isn't possible to add BRI extensions to Hunt Group as such, but I have set FDN and HUNT to the next extension in line as John suggested and that seems to do the trick.

Many thanks John and merry christmas one and all!
