I have a problem routing ddi's,

The system is an SOE 3.2sw with a BRI module, This is connected to BT ISDN2e P-P.

The isdn line has been converted from analogue so it has the old analog line number plus 2 single line DDI's
The wierd problem that I have is that in the incomming call route I put the 3 external numbers each to thier own unique destination they all ring to the same destination,
This same destination seems to be random in that they are delivered to whatever ddi I programmed last.
This is a new install and I have spoken to BT who assure me that the line and ddi's are configured correctly from thier end.

Any Ideas?

thanks

you can check what BT are sending you with monitor.

Enable the ISDN options and make a call in on each of the DDI's and see what you get in the called_number field.

Are you sure BT are sending digits, it took me 2 weeks to get them to send some on a new install so I could route the fax and DDI range.

Hmmm. looking at the called_number, has nothing in it ().

Bt say "we are sending 6 digits to line" ,

what can I do?

I want to go to BT sales & the exchange with an AK.

if called_number says nothing then BT are not sending you anything.

To be sure, get a Trend on there.

But I would shout at BT.

Bt are such a knightmare in my eyes. They are so tunnel vision orintated. Heaven forbid if a phone tech dares to suggest the fault lie with BT.

Try reporting it as a fault, with a bit of luck, you might even get to speak to an engineer.
On any system I have fitted, if I couldn't point DDI numbers at specific answer points, the problem has always been no digits being sent.

It's never BT's fault!!!!! They are perfect!!!!!!
