If I start a ping or traceroute from a telnet session to a router, is there any way to break out of it before it completes. If the traceroute gets stuck in a loop, or I accidently type the wrong thing it can take a long time before it completely times out... I seem to remember a keystroke that will break out, but cannot recall what it was. Any suggestions?

Shift-Ctrl-6 usually works.

Thanks what I was looking for... thanks for the quick and helpful response!
