breaking a string in 2 lines

Have created a variable which needs to be displayed in 2 line something like
field 1
(on 01/01/2004)

tried using chr(13) but bo doesn't seem to recognize chr(13)
any other way to achieve this ..

It's working for me:

=<User Fst Nme>+Char(13)+<User Lst Nme>

The result is:

First name
Last Name
