I have a phone with bridged appearances off another that is set to abbreviated ring. When the other phone rings and you pick up the phone it automatically selects the bridged appearance and answers. How do I set it up so you have to manually select the appearance to answer the other phone?

In the Bridged Idle Line Preference? field, perform one of the following actions:

appearance button to connect to the call, type y.
