Brand New User

I use Adobe Premiere except it is version 5.1. I know, stone ages.

I will be upgrading to 1.5 in the very new future.

I am new to the board, new to the upgrade, and new to a lot of things.

What should I know about the stuff? The good and the bad.

What should be the first thing(s) that I should do when I start?

Adobe Premiere 1.5 is much different. Interface wise.. I would grab the book Premiere Pro 1.5 Studio Techniques. Great overview and some how-tos..

It will only run on Windows XP
