Does anyone know the complete process of the bpbkar32 on a Windows client after a backup is complete? I have a client where the bpbkar runs for 2/3 hours after the backup completes.
If the backup is successfull the bpbkar32 process then walks the files system and resets the archive bit on the backed up files, this can take a long time if there are lots of files.
Is that all it does? From the logs that is all it looks like it does but the Windows team is claiming the process is using a majority of the processor.
