BOXI 'Hide Block' functionality

Hi All,

I can't find a method of programmatically (via a formula) 'Hiding Block' within BOXI. This was available in Version 5. I use BOXI and Version 5.

Many of our reports written in Version 5 use extensive Page formatting formula within the 'Table Format\'Hide Block' facility.

Does BOXI have such functionality (I don't think so or maybe I'm blind)?
or has anyone derived a system of doing such?

I can see a possibility of hiding blocks by making all fields Null upon a given criteria. But that would mean writing a variable for all fields, and it would mean that to 'unhide' would involve re-programming all such variable. What a task.

Are you talking about DeskI XI or WebI XI.

DeskI XI does it exactly the same as it did in 5.x. It's under the appearance tab.

I'll check on WebI, but I don't think it's there.

Thanks for that Steve, but WebI XI is the package that I'm talking about.

Maybe DeskI XI is the package that we will have to look at for our needs.

But....if you do find anything about WebI then that would be very useful.
