Hi,

I am newbie and I want to learn C++ (I have no knowledge in C or java), what is the best book to learn fast and efficient C++ under Borland C++Builder environment.

Thanks,
Dkin

the builder environment is not the place to learn
C or C++. You can learn it there but the Builder
environment is a distraction. the C++ for dummies
is a good start or learn C++ in 24hours books is
excelent. I dont know if you can still get the
C++ IDE from borland but thats were I started.

if you do use the builder I would suggest you stay away
from the components until you get the hang of the code.
then you can get all cutesy with the windows thing.

I learned al little code some years ago and found
builder 3.0 at the local book store. I could not make
heads or tails of it until I passed a threshhold in
my code expertise.

but then again I always suggest that you learn dos
first if you really want to become self sufficient
with your computer
