Booting serveRAID v.7.10B on 5500 M20

Having problems with the instillation of Linux (any distro) on my 5500. Sometimes loads programe into memory sometimes starts instillation but never gets very far. Have used config utility to set up Raid 5 array and have that all working ok. Cannot boot serveRAID cd to upate BIOS ect. why am i unable to perform install and why will CD not boot up? If any one could give me a hand id be much obliged as many an evening has now been spent getting fustrated!!!

have you tried it on aqnother system that is the same type, if you have one. Maybe a bad cdrom. I downloaded the exact cdrom .iso file and ran it on my 5500 m20 without problems. So at least you know it is not that particular make of server.
