ok i use these old 486 to pentium 166 for emulating satillite signals. i wont explain if you dont know. the program that runs is very small and only requires a floppy drive and little ram. my problem is....some of the comps i have will not boot up without a keyboard attached. some i can disable in bios and some i cant. what do i do to be able to boot up without a keyboard ? or to make it recognize a keyboard is attached, without gutting the keyboard of its circuit board. (this is just to make things neat and tidy) once the comp is booted and program running ....it may only have to be booted every week or so.....
this happens with pheonix bios, award bios and several other bios. and of course that dreaded compaq problem with the proprietary systems that they came up with.... any suggestions would be appreciated thank you buz
