Hi. I have a problem which has me pretty well stumped. I have a home built machine with 256megs of memory running a 333 horse Cyrix with disk 0=4.3 Gigs and 1=20 and an Award v4.51PG BIOS. I rebuilt ny hard disk. I'm setting aside the first primary partition as a DOS 5.0 partition. However when I try to boot I get hung uo on a nessage, still in the BIOS, saying "Verifying DMI Pool Data
.....Boot2>.

The hard drives are being accurately reported. The BIOS boot is set to C, CDROM, A. The partiton is set to active and system formatted. Does anyone have any idea what the hell is going on? I'd really appreciate any information on what I can do and what is wring with this damn thing.

Thanks much in advance

Hi Franklin. That's how I partitioned the disk and set it active. I thank you wrmly for the attempt but have fixed the problem. I started thinking of the boot sequence and since all the harware seemed okay I went to the next step. The boot sector. I decided to rewrite the sector with fdisk /mbr. Worked fine. Of course I thought of it about three minutes after I posted my request. I most certainly do thank you though.
