We are upgrading our Office 97 machines to Office XP.
Is there a comprable replacement for Bookshelf Basics?

Never heard fo ne for XP. You may want to check out the BookShelf site for that. It's probably called MS Encarta Reference now.

MS articles Q159778 and Q290531 explain the contents of Office 97 and Office XP.
