In our windows server 2003 network with Windows 2000/xp professional workstations we use Outlook 2000, 2002 and 2003. We have created resources for users to book when required. If the resource is free they get a message confirming that the resource was successfully booked.
How do we set this up to email someone the booking request, which should be automatically accepted if the time is available, but should still (if possible) send an email if the request failed.
Also, we would like a way to have the users sign the resource in and out, so that the actual usage is recorded (understanding this cannot be done to physically match usage but to have the users be able to show that they hav returned the resource, and if done early, the booking time is updated to reflect the earlier sign in).
Thanks for any help and suggestions.
