Can anyone recommend a good book for administering/configuring/troubleshooting Win2k Pro? I'm getting ready to put several win2k machines on a network that will be mixed mode (NT domain controllers).
I highly recommend "Using MS Windows2000 Professional Special Edition" published by QUE. The co-authors have a good real-world grasp of win2k. This book is written for intermediate computer users. It has helped me alot.
I enjoyed Mark Minasi's Mastering Windows 2000 professional. Though, I must say, most of what I have learned is through hands on and the internet. The books are almost like a starting point to further the info my brain holds.
