Is there a way to bold just some of a string in one text box on a report?

Just wondering...

Julia

the short and sweet answer is no.....

now the long answer is to mimic the effect, depending on your ciscumstance and report format...if you want to give some more details, I'll help you decide if your situation will support a work around.

mstrmage1768,

The text box is in the report footer section of the report and contains the following in the Control Source property:

="Please complete the enclosed Protocol Continuing Review form and return to the Institutional Review Board at the address below. The Continuing Review form must be returned to this office no later than noon on " & Format([Forms]![frmContinuingReviews].[DueDateForm],"mmmm dd"", ""yyyy") & " for review at the upcoming IRB meeting."

I would like to just bold the last sentence but still leave the two sentences in paragraph form.

CosmoKramer,

I checked out the two databases from Stephen Lebans. I don't understand the examples enough to implement them(I am not a programmer).

Thank you both for your responses. If you have any ideas, please let me know.

The simpliest method....break this box up into two boxes.....one for each sentence. Bold the second one and line them up so they look correct. CosmoKramer is correct with Stephen Lebans' solution....I had forgotten about that one....

Thank you, both. I will try your suggestion, Robert. CosmoKramer, I will study Stephen Leban's solution in my spare time.

Happy Holidays!
