We have been quite happy running our BOE-XI (R2) cluster on four (4) dual-processor servers under our eight (8) processor BOBJ license.
That hardware is coming up for "recycling" in the next 12 months, and our New physical server baseline is Dual Socket / Quad Core (8 - Intel Processors per physical server).
Don't feel like paying additional BOBJ license-costs, but also don't want to move the cluster down to a single physical server.
Need to figure-out the best "scaling/fail-over" plan for the new hardware without breaking the bank on new BOBJ licenses.
