Can BO client be installed on XP home as a stand alone? I am new to BO and I would like to install it on my home box (XP HOME) for training purposes and to develop reports against Access or SQL Server. Has anyone done this? Can you give me a general idea of how to do this and what components(products) to install?

Just install the client with a valid license key. You don't need a repository. Just learn the tool using personal connections and MS Access databases.

Thanks Steve. Can you give me an idea of what products to install. BO Supervisor, Designer & the Reporter ......anything else????

That's all there is. Nothing else matters. Install the multimedia stuff. You can learn a bit from there. Also take the demo databases.
