Hi,

I have chart number of events per Date: where y-avix is # of events and x-avix is date when this event occured.
The problem is that x scale doesn't show the difference between dates:
1/1/2003, 1/3/2003, 3/3/2003...

do you have any suggestions?

Steave,

Thanks for your respond.

What about this snenario:
1. Convert a date field to julian date and create a new var
2. Use both jdate var and date field in a chart
3. Formating chart hide jdate

The issue is really that the X axis in BO just displays a regular dimension. Let's say you have 3 values on the X axis 1,3 and 10. When you make a chart they will just be 3 discreet points. Their distance from one another has nothing to do with the values. It would look exactly the same as if you had 1, 203 and 912.
