BO and XP

Hi all,
does anyone know of problems related to running BO on XP ??? We (up)graded from NT / 97 a short while ago and it seems to me that the number of fatal exception errors has increased dramatically from 1 a month to about 1 every 2 days. It's happening in a number of circumstances - mainly when editing a variable or a query but also when using drill filters and sometimes just when selecting "New Report".....Any ideas / known problems ??

Currently we are running BO 5.1.5 under XP and we experienced general errors. We were advised to run Business Objects in Compatibility mode (Win2000). This discreases to number of errors.

At the moment we are planning on distributing Windows XP SP1a to our machines, but this will give the USR0046 (Cannot access Network Layer). When I don't use the compatibility mode, BO starts up just fine, but it will probably give me more errors (QED) while running BO.

We've just had a guy in from BO - he's had a look and is referring the case to the systems team at BO. Will post back when we get an answer
