BO 5.1.7 and Windows XP 1

We are using BO full client (Supervisor / Designer / Reporter)on Windows 2000.

Our infra-structure people want to move towards Windows XP Pro.

What is the latest position with BO on XP, most messages I can find are too old, too Webi or too specific?

Any help could earn a Star.

5.1.7 supports XP Pro just fine. I know it works with SP1. I'm almost positive it works with SP2, but SP2 came out much later that 5.1.7.

If you have trouble with SP2, you can always run it in compatiblity mode.

You can check all of this on the BO tech support site by looking at the PAR (Product Availability Report).

I am using the 5.1.7 products, i.e. Supervisor, Designer, and Designer on a Windows XP SP1 machine and haven't had any problems. We are currently testing SP2 and I don't think we've had any problems there either. Hope this helps.

Thanks to both of you.

I cannot try it yet as we are a DB2 shop, and our current level of DB2 v8 is not compatible with XP.
