Good Morning
Been asked to install some BM 12 units on 9608 sets. Since the phones are powered by POE switches is a power supply for the BM 12 needed?
Thanks
Tom

For one BM12 you should be able to get away with power from the switch. That also depends on your POE budget.

The BM12 gets its power from the 9608 so you should be good to go with the current POE.

highly recommend that if you're using 9608/9611 phones, you purchase and use SBM24 modules rather than BM12's. Both are 24 buttons, but the BM12 requires pages between two pages of 12, while the SBM24 has them all on one screen. Cost is very close
