do you know a fix for when you log in it comes up loading settings. And then just sit’s on a blank blue background screen,

I am logging in as Administrator,

I can login in safe mode fine,

I was trying to configure a programme when I rebooted, and it wouldn’t let me back in.

I have tried a last know good configuration, still no good.

I have shut it down completely and left it awhile and then powered it up.

Any other options that I haven’t tried??

I really would apperciate your opinion.

Kind regards
Hayley

could you do a "CTRL-ATL-DEL" ?
if so,try this, run task manager, applications tab, new tasks, and type "explorer". This will bring up the explorer who failed to load.

Thanks MontrealSoft,

But this doesn't work. I have typed it in New Task... and then clicked OK, but it put's nothing in the applications window. and I'm still at the same state of blue screen.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks again.

Just to check, try thread748-437610
