Windows 98. I get a blue screen. Unable to write to Disk in Drive C. The computer freezes. My 4.3 Gb hard drive is less than half full. I have 256MB Ram. I use a Belkin NIC to interface with Verizon DSL.
Unable to write to Drive C: should ring a bell that it is HIGH time to backup and replace that disk!
A scandisk, with may save it for a while but you should not take the risk.
Marc If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, expect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.
