Is there anyway to block emails that have *.exe files attached to them, using outlook express?

Funny, we upgraded to Outlook 2k two months ago and cannot get any .exe, .zip attachments past the internal filtering. The user just cannot receive (or send) anything except .txt (so he's renaming all his outgoing attachments that...)
