There is generally a very good reason for have a protected screen saver that locks the system. Usually this is for security reasons. Why do you need to do this?

Mainly this is to override the protection in a plasma screen which displays status of servers (to the whole IT Team). If the system is not used for some time, the screen is locked and we need to login to see the server status. The interval is something like 2 minutes and we dont want to override the security policy. We just want some activity that will prevent the screen saver locking the machine.
