couple of things to check for.. disa, i never leave it turned on.. the biggest hack is users voice mail.. a lot of switches with did allow casual passwords.. if your setting the vm box passwords to the ext backwards, everyone has already guessed it.. if i dial a did, go to mail, press * and try to log in.. if i guess a pwd in 2 tries, i can set the 0 out option to 9.. then if your rpls are not tight, i dial the did, go to mail, press 0, get dt from your switch..
best way to block that is with mail rpl's.. even if you set your 0 option to 9, it's local only.. my vm agents are ncos 1 and the rpl's do not allow 0 or 1 as a 1st digit..
look for cfxa, ld 81 lst, then at feat cfxa.. another forward to 9 that can cost..
phone hacks are not as common as they once where.. but it happens, we use auth codes.. but they are posted in most depts..
