Block Calls from obscene callers

Is there any way to block calls from obscene caller in the Option 11C rls 24.40 B+ if I know the number.

You would need to contact whomever you get you DID's from.

Are you saying there is no way to block it in the option 11C using Called ID.

If you had CCR you could but other than that I don't think so.

no, a symposium will route on clid, the switch routes only on dialed digits, and inbound routes..calling party detail is not part of the routing table

It also depends on the clown who is causing the problem. We have had a caller- blocked his CLID in Symposium. He simply moved to another 'phone. Blocked that one, too. He started using pay phones- had telco block payphone access for that 800 number. At least now the number of calls is somewhat under control since he has to resort to grabbing a phone in an office or retail store to make a successful call. Can't really give any more details except to say it's amazing how weak the law is in some areas.
