Well, I have never had a problem with all the correct settings, etc. Obviously, it is either you are doing something wrong, or some hardware is faulty. Historically, it is 95% user error, but no---you must be Mr. Perfect, so God forbid YOU ever make a mistake...
Take everything back to the store, start fresh with new hardware. Nobody is going to help until you give all pertinent information. I guarantee you're doing something wrong...
