blank fields print ok

I am using crystal 8.5 linked to sql server 2000. I have two offices using the same set of reports stored on a server. In one office everything looks and prints fine. In the other office - offsite, many of the fields do not display when opening the same report, but when the report is printed the blank fields print ok with the expected text. Has anyone seen anything like this?
