Using Photoshop LE the print command is greyed out if I have a foto at 16 bits instead of 8 bits. Is this normal?

yeah I have found this too. Although this seemes to be sorted out in cs.
You may also notice that the number of filters that you can use are limited

Filters are limited in 16bit once converted to 8 bit they will become active.
Photoshop CS has more control over 16bit then previous versions
