I'm having problems trying to upgrade my bios.
I have an Abit bx-6 (version 1) motherboard and am trying to upgrade my bios to
recognize a pentium III 550 mhz processor.
When I used the AWDFlash program that came with my motherboard (version 7.5)
it gives me the error message "file size does not match" no matter which bios
(bx6_mx, bx6_lw, bx6_qs, etc) I try to use. When I downloaded the most current
AWDFlash it now gives me the message "The program file's part number does not
match with your system!"
Both errors throw me back to the a:\>, so I can't force a flash.
the part string of my motherboard is:
i440bx-w977-2a69ka1jc-ku
What can I do?
