System:
MB: Abit P35PRO
Vid: EVGA GTX8800
CPU: Intel 6850 Core Duo 3.0ghz
RAM: Ballistix 2GB at PC2-8500
PS: 850 WATT Antec
OS: Vista Home Premium 32bit (yes I know should have gotten 64bit)
Lastest drivers installed on all devices including the 8800 GTX video card.
Original issue: This was a new build and the system was semi- stable, meaning that about one time per day I was getting a blue screen random error.
Blue screen error stated: Driver_Irql_Not_Less_or_Equal
Techincal information: Stop: 0X00000001 (OX00000008, 0X00000002, OX0000001, 0X806595B2)

My first thought to fix this was that perhaps the Bios needed to be updated so I checked Abit's USA website and to my disappointment no Bios listed there (the motherboard not listed there either) but their Taiwan Website did have a new Bios update going from the original Bios 10 as shipped on the MB to Bios 11 which is the newest one created in July, I attempted to do this update with their Driver Utility through Vistas. Again to my disappointment it hung in the middle of install which is where my real frustration has begun, after attempting to clear the CCMOS several times and no luck, I now have a dead box and I am unclear of what to do next to get an original Bios back up and working on this new build. Thanks for any help you can offer me and I hope I have provided enough detail.
