Has anyone had any experience in using a biometric device to logon onto an NT/2000 domain?
Any input on the hardware or software would be welcome.
Or any information on these devices would be helpful.

Apologies if is not the right thread to be using, but it is on an NT network that these devices will be used, if they work with any efficiency or at all.

Many thanks DEC

If it helps, let me know, if it doesn't, let me know. It's the only way I'll learn.

the bometric for fingerprints are not that secure yet. When you use it you leave a fat residue from your finger tip on the touch pad. Most of these systems have been defeated rather easily. The easiest is filling a zip lock bag with water and then using it to press down on the touch pad. The lets the computer scan the residue that was left by the last person logging on. Read this article it talks about beating biometric systems to death.
