Binding single IPs to server with double NICs

The mssage title says it all really.

How do i bind an ip address to a server with double NICs?
 
Only done this once before using Intel cards but if they are intel cards there is a utility you can download and basically pair the NICs - if thats what you are wanting to do - giving you resiliency and failover.

If this isn't what you want to achieve I know that the utility also had other options.

you can bridge the connections and apply the ip address to the bridge
