BIND dies daemon.crit] exiting (due to assertion failure)

Hi All,
I'm running BIND 9.1.3rc1 on a Solaris 8 box and every now and then it dies with the following:

May 30 15:11:26 xxxx001 /usr/local/sbin/named[16464]: [ID 866145 daemon.crit] message.c:782: REQUIRE(*rdataset == 0) failed
May 30 15:11:26 xxxx001 /usr/local/sbin/named[16464]: [ID 866145 daemon.crit] exiting (due to assertion failure)

I've googled for it but I can't find a reason anywhere. Can anyone help?
