BIND 9.1.0 on Solaris 2.5.1?

I'm having some problems running BIND 9.1.0 on a SUN Sparc 5 loaded with Solaris 2.5.1 and am getting some "configuration" errors. I have successfully gotten it to run on a Sparc 5 loaded with Solaris 2.6. I have read somewhere that BIND 9.1.0 will not work with Solaris 2.5.1. Is this true? Has anyone had any success in getting it to work?
