Hello everyone.

Just had a look this morning at the backup server as the O/S drive is out of space. Had a look into the folders and the Arcserve DATABASE directory has a few file that are using up the space.

We had to of the backup jobs crash last night, and one job today had to be stopped because of the slow network link that we have to another part of the site.

Can these files be deleted, some of them are 3 months old, some are in the last 2 days. Will this affect the Arcserve database if I delete the files?

Cheers everyone

Marty

Hey Marty,

Don't delete them. Read through the faq478-5164 and you'll be able to reduce the size on your DB. Keep in mind that your DB will be growing so you might want to do this periocically.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,
GSC
