I am not completely familar with BGP but, I have 5 routers in BGP AS 65054 and then another group of routers connected to one of them via BGP AS 65000. Is there a way I could have this router advertive a route to the systems across AS 65000 and no to the rest of the 65054 routers?

Thanks you

Create a route-filter via a distribute-list or prefix-list that denies the route from being advertised to specific neighbors. Make sure to include a permit any statement at the end.

Hope this helps.

distribution lists or prefix lists would be the easiest way. You should ALWAYS use some form of route filtering on your eBGP peer links.
