I am an administrator of a Cyber Cafe and from time to time we have virus attacks that affect all the PCs which means they have to be reformatted.

What will be the best way to do this as not all the HDD are the same make or size?

Which Imaging software would be best to use?

Thanks

I've been using ghost for a few years and it's working ok for me.

Trouble is you would need an image for each computer to avoid settng them up over and over.

You would set up each PC as you want, then ghost them. You would have to restore them individually also.

I have images that have been sysprepped for a classroom that I take care of. We redo the computers sometimes twice a day. Then the students do the mini-setup. But I don't think this would be good for your situation.

Another thing, ghost requires a license for each computer that you restore an image to.

I would look into setting up some sort of antivirus solution to protect the computers. Much less time spent administering updates than formatting and reloading..

A little while ago you could get NAV for free after the rebate. I think normal price is 49.95 with 1 year of updates.
