I am in the process of changing our companies email domain name. any ideas on how best to roll it out without adversely effecting business?
I'm thinking of a thirty day forwarding of mail sent to the old address and then turning it off.
I'm also thinking of requiring my users to manage the notification of thier new address to their contacts...
ideas? comments?
Thank you.

If possible, keep the 2 domains active, but the old one inbound only, so no-one can send from it anymore.
You could also implement a 30 day Autoreply for incoming mail stating the new domain name. If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

Thanks, I especially like the autoreply idea. It could save some work.
